Welcome to Devoran Pre-school

We are an Ofsted registered Pre-school (last Inspection Jan 2008) and a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PSLA). Situated in the School Room of the Methodist Chapel in Devoran, we can currently take up to 20 children per session from age 2 to the commencement of school.

The Pre-school is a registered charity with a volunteer management committee of parents and is run by a team of qualified practitioners lead by Cathy Kemp with Dawn Tyler as her deputy.

Parents are invited to assist in the running of the Pre-school either by volunteering to help during a session, by joining the Committee, or providing the Committee with assistance at fund raising and social activities. We recognise the importance of parents and practitioners working together to have a positive impact on children’s development and learning.

We work to the statutory framework of regulations for the EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE – to set the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five.
