Summer 2023
What a fabulous year we have had at Pre-School.There were trips to the beach, train rides, a Coronation celebration, a Sports Day and so much more. We welcomed many new families to the setting.The Tuesday and Thursday Breakfast and After School clubs we have been trialling this academic year have proved popular and we will be looking into adding additional Club days to the timetable. Parents please get in touch and let us know your interest in other days.We also registered with easyfundraising to help raise much needed funds to buy resouces for the setting. Autumn 2022
We are going to be trialling a Breakfast and After School club two days a week at the Pre-School .These clubs will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are hoping that we will have enough interest to offer more days going forward. Please contact Cathy Kemp (Manager) by email or telephone for more information.
Spring 2022 We have welcomed a number of new families to the Pre-School at the start of 2022. Sessions with Nick from Sports 4 Tots have now resumed and we are planning our first Fair at the Preschool since the pandemic.
Summer Term 2020 It has been an unusual time here at Pre-School, the premises have been shut due to Covid-19 but it doesn't mean the fun and learning has stopped. The children have been learning a new sound every week via an online platform, shared stories and photos of their achievements. They have made aquariums, completed shape and letter hunts, planted sunflowers and made VE day bunting. I think we have made the best of a difficult situation. The children have been welcomed back with lots of smiles this week (22nd June) into bubbles of 12. We look forward to September when things will hopefully return to 'normal' a little more. We are currently moving forward by inviting new and prospective parents to make an appointment to view the preschool.
Autumn Term 2019 Its been a quiet, steady start to the term this year, after our OFSTED inspection in the Summer Term. We are pleased to report that the inspection went very well - "children form exceptionally close bonds with staff and each other" " Children develop a very strong sense of belonging in the pre-school and local community" we are extremely proud of this recognition for the work we do in our community. We are very pleased to welcome our new families to Preschool. We do have some places available so feel free to contact us and visit our setting.
